Summary

    The Muskogee Health Clinic is a 103,000 square foot ambulatory care center designed for the Cherokee Nation. Total construction cost was $26,000,000. The design team utilized the Indian Health Service design templates with some modifications and the facility was constructed by Cherokee Nation Construction Management Services (CNCMS) under a "Fast-Track" construction management format.  Patient services include Primary Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Information Management, Pharmacy, Employee Education, Community Health, Optometry, Behavioral Health, Physical Therapy, Dental, and Administration Services.  

 

    The design of this facility incorporates Cherokee heritage throughout the exterior and interior of the building. Design elements include the columns at the main entry which are reminiscent of the Female Seminary columns constructed in the mid-1800’s located near Tahlequah.
