Laura Morrison, AIA, NCARB
Office Director | Senior Healthcare Planner | PrincipalLaura is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in educational facilities, Class A office buildings, specialty and acute-care hospitals, radiation oncology centers, ambulatory surgery centers, medical office buildings, outpatient clinics, senior care facilities, and recreational facilities. She has successfully completed projects across multiple states, including Arkansas, Colorado, California, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
An Arkansas native, Laura began her career working on healthcare projects in Palo Alto, California, and later worked in Boulder, Colorado, for nationally recognized firms specializing in healthcare design and Class A office buildings. She subsequently founded and managed Morrison Architecture, a woman-owned architectural firm in Northwest Arkansas. At Childers Architect, Laura continues to focus on her passion for healthcare design.
Laura enjoys the creative challenge of solving both practical and aesthetic problems. From her youth, building forts and taking objects apart to understand how they work, she developed a curiosity for materials, function, and artistry — the foundation for her architectural career. Her ability to listen to clients, organize complex projects, and manage design from programming through construction has been instrumental in fostering repeat clients.
