Sara Altieri

Biography

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art, Sara began her career as a college counselor at a small, independently owned art college in downtown Chicago. However, her role quickly evolved into graphic design and marketing, which combined her interest in focusing on people and relationships, creativity as an artist, strategic thinking, and a desire to create positive experiences and outcomes. Her client-centered approach drives her to deliver a high level of quality and care to clients and teams she serves. She appreciates a good brainstorming session and loves discovering strengths in others while working on collaborative projects.

Sara holds a Master of Arts degree in Learning and Teaching and is a practicing artist and muralist. She leads community art activities and welcomes opportunities to take on unique painting projects. Her canvases have included motorcycle helmets, a vintage Volkswagen bus, blue leather boots, stone slabs and a javelina skull, among many others. She loves to transform everyday mundane objects into works of art! She also volunteers as a park steward and enjoys early morning rides on her café racer motorcycle.
