Absentee Shawnee Tribe Little Axe Health Clinic

Conceived as a joint venture between the Indian Health Service and the Absentee Shawnee Tribe, the Little Axe Health Center is a 73,000 square foot outpatient facility. The facility is attempting to gain LEED Silver certification and when finished will be one of the largest Indian Health Service joint venture projects to be LEED certified.

Total construction cost is estimated to be $18,000,000. Patient services will include Pharmacy, Primary Care, Dental, Diabetes/Wellness Program, Education and Group Counseling, Behavioral Health, Public Health, Audiology, Physical Therapy, Eye Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, and Administrative Service.
