Muscogee (Creek) Nation Koweta Indian Health Facility

The Koweta Indian Health Facility is a 58,900 square foot ambulatory care center designed for the Muskogee (Creek) Nation of Oklahoma. The design team utilized the Indian Health Service design templates with some modifications and the facility was constructed under a “Fast-Track” construction management format. Patient services include Pharmacy, Primary Care, Laboratory, Radiology, Community Health, Behavioral Health, Women Infants and Children Program, Dental, Audiology, Optometry, and Administration Services.

The utility infrastructure, circulation, and site development were master planned to allow for fifty percent expansion to the clinic. In addition, the plan allows for future free-standing specialty clinics and provides for utility access including other future, undetermined requirements. A major goal in this project was to plan for and serve the future needs, relating to medical services, of the local Muskogee (Creek) Nation and the surrounding Native American Indian population.
